Youth: Ballet for Brown Girls
(Ages 10-13) Empowering black & brown girls through non-traditional dress code and dance history.
Class Description
This class is a safe space for black and brown girls who want to learn ballet. This workshop features ballet terminology, ballet barre exercises, and abbreviated Black ballet history set against instrumental pop music renditions. Dancers are also encouraged to embrace wear natural hairstyles, brown tights, and brown ballet shoes.

(1) Class Cancellation: A ten minute grace period will be granted before cancellation. Missed classes can be rescheduled. (2) Refund Policy: There are no refunds issued for unused classes of a pre-paid class package. All payments are final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. (3) Photo-Video Release: Upon registering for class, you give permission for photographs and videos to be taken of you during training and performances, to be used by Footwork And Sole LLC for promotion or other commercial purposes. Rights can be joint or exclusive to Footwork And Sole LLC.
