Our community dance division is the education department of Footwork And Sole. Within it, we aim to elevate the quality of training available to dance ministers. Our classes and conferences integrate various dance techniques, are spiritually edifying,
and Biblically sound.
COMMUNITY DANCE CLASSES
Foundations of Dance Ministry
This class gives dance ministers an opportunity to learn about the difference between praise dance, worship dance, prophetic dance, and intercession through dance.
Flag Ministry
In this class you will learn about different types of flags, effective movement combinations, and what the Bible says about banners.
Dance Skills
This class features kicks, jumps, and turns intended to expand the movement vocabulary of dance ministers. We incorporate multiple genres of dance including ballet, modern, jazz, and West African dance.
Choreographing & Staging
This class is an introduction to principles of choreography, from a dance ministry perspective. You will learn how to create your own dances and stage them impactful. This class is especially helpful for leaders of dance ministry teams!
