Community Ballet Classes
Which level ballet class should I enroll my child in? What should they wear to class?

Pre-Ballet: Ages 3-4

Intro Level: Ages 5-6

Pink ballet slippers, soft pink tights, soft pink leotard, and pink skirt (optional).
Level One: Ages 7-9
-
Brown ballet slippers, brown/skin tone tights, light blue ballet leotard, and light blue ballet skirt (optional).
Level Two: Ages 10-13
-
Brown ballet slippers, brown/skin tone tights, royal blue ballet leotard, and royal blue ballet skirt (optional).
No baggy clothing, socks, or alternative dance shoes permitted. During cold weather seasons students are permitted to wear to layer with matching cardigans or wrap sweaters. It is also recommended that students bring a water bottle for in-class hydration.
This list has been created as a point of reference; attire can be purchased elsewhere.
What do I wear to Adult Ballet class?

Dress Code:

Leotard (any color), pink/brown/skin tone tights, and pink or brown ballet slippers.

Don't feel comfortable in a leotard? You may wear a fitted shirt, leggings or jazz/stretch pants, and ballet slippers instead.

How is this class different from
a traditional ballet class?

Students are permitted to wear natural hairstyles, brown tights, and brown ballet shoes.

Introductory classes (ages 5-6) end with reading books about black and brown ballerinas.

Level One & Two classes (ages 7-9 and 10-13) end with a historical summary of a black or brown ballerina.

Dance Conditioning Classes & Dance Boot Camp
Who can enroll in Dance Conditioning classes? What will I learn?

This class is open to the following:

What can I expect learn in the
Dance Boot Camp?

5-Day Series of dance conditioning classes and coaching. Each class is a combination of strength training and dance technique. This boot camp is designed to improve your performance and provide tools to prevent future injury.
